The information we receive from books is the peculiar information we won't be able to receive from the other sources. It is common that books are needed in order to bring up and form the morality of children. Sure, there are parents who tell them what is good and what is not. Though, it is nit a secret that lectures people read for children are of no use in most cases. Children are sure that they can live on their own and that they know better what good is and what not is. Moreover, in most cases children recognize the morality parents want to suggest them as an archaic one, and as one of no use and sense.
It is important for child to realize itself what is good and what is not. Only in case if a child believes that the thought he or she has is his or her own thought, suggested by no one, that thought will be recognized as the true one and child will follow it. But, if parents are not recognized as reliable source of information then who is? Sure, friends are recognized as that source but I bet parents will object this source. So, the dead end. Though, there is a way out of this dead and that way may be represented as reading books.
As a rule authors input a number of thoughts about the sense of the life, about all do's and don'ts and about a number of other things. And a person recognizes those thoughts, realizes those thoughts and percept those. No one is going to say that a book is a panacea, though that is the possible way out. As for the other kinds of information people receive from books it is also important and not as infiltrated as the TV information. There are a number of encyclopedias in which people may read about a number of things and events. The information in encyclopedia is of no infiltration as a rule. Those are data about event, phenomenon or thing or else.
The greatest disadvantage of books is updating of the information. Say, the TV and networking information is updated every day and even for several times a day. But no one will republish the book in order to add some piece of information. That is why there second, third and many other publications. The second publication of book is the same book supplemented with some new facts. Though, if you have bought a book it won't inform you that it is already the second publication is published.
So, the booking information is purer than the information we receive from television and internet. But on the other hand it is the nodal information and it will remain the same for good. On the other hand, reading book is like immersion in certain age and certain situation. It is true for fiction books. It is an immersion in feelings of the main character or of the main characters. No matter on the nodal nature of booking information it is peculiar for its unique features that make a book a small world that can't be reproduced by television or internet.
