It is not the modern TV-technologies we are going to talk about. It is the quality of TV-programs, TV-shows and movies we are going to talk about. It is not necessary to be a skillful critic or psychologist to realize that something wrong is going on with the information suggested for people on the television. In most cases those are programs and shows produced on order to not let people get bored with their evenings. There are a number of shows that entertain people but provide them with no important or valuable information.
Take a good look on TV-shows people produce for modern teenagers. There are a number of shows and not a single show deals with science or culture. In most cases those are shows produced for teenager's entertainment. There are reality shows the every teenager can take part at. It is enough to apply an application and visit a casting. Once the producer approves your personality – you are the member of the show. The different shows nave different nature rules and aims.
There are, for example, reality shows according to rules of which people are placed some place without any connection with the world outside. They have to follow certain rules and perform certain activity in order to become a winner of the show. The winner will be granted with fame and the main prize of the show. There are shows with strict limits of their lasting and there are also shows which can last for years long. It depends on the popularity of the show. In case if the show is popular enough, it won't be stopped till the day it will become unprofitable.
The devaluation of morality is performed through those TV-shows. People lose their ability to respect themselves and are ready to do anything in order to stay in show and win the prize. There is a Fear Factor reality show. People who take a part in the show have to overcome their greatest fears. The one who will manage to fulfill all of the tasks will be a winner and will win 50 grands. One may say that there is nothing bad in overcoming one's fear and be given a money for it.
Maybe it is so, though it is enough to watch it once and one will realize the nature of people. There are people who are ready to do anything in order to win the money. It is not the fear they overcome during the game, but it is the dignity they overcome. There is nothing bad in that show as the aim of the show is prevailed. The aim is to entertain people, and people are entertained. And there is another advantage of the show – it reveals the nature of modern people. And according to what we have seen there is no nature of modern people. They are so thirsty for money that they are ready to do anything in order to get it.
The reality shows we see on television is a perfect opportunity for us to realize the greatest problems of nowadays. It is not the political or economic problems one has to realize, but it is a problem of devaluation of morality. Nowadays, people are thirsty for money only and they have forgotten about morality and spiritual values. And the road we walk today will lead us anywhere.
