The way it was
The way it was is an extremely different way of the one it is now. There was times when there was no television at all and people were not even able to imagine that it is possible. Though. It appeared to be possible and nowadays it is hard to imagine that there was no television some years ago. There are different theories about who was the first one to invent television. Though, there is a common thought that it didn't appear at one day. At first there appeared photography and then people realized that it is possible to transfer images. Though, at first those were inanimate images just a row of pictures, like slide-show.
According to one theory the Russian scientists was the first one to invent the machine that were able to transfer such images. With the lapse of time a number of scientists became interested at this field and so a number of researches were conducted. The result of those researches we see on our TV-screens everyday. But it is the way things are today, though we are interested at the way things were. And that is how it was. People were reading books and the books were the only source for people to find out more about events and phenomena they have never heard before. But, before the books were written there were people who wandered around the world and tell stories about what they have seen. When there was too much knowledge they start recording of those knowledge.
And people were reading books and were fond of the reading. The books were something that gave people topics to talk about and knowledge they were thirsty for. It was books the way to spend time and to realize what the life is. Those books were full of different fabulous staff and people saw everything they were reading about in their imagination. It was the imagination that provided people with bright images of things they found out from books. And reading were making people more intelligent and gentle. It also was a source of new words people adopted. It was a source of emotions and feelings people wanted to feel.
So, as you can see the way it was is a way of reading. People were thirsty for new experience and books were the only source they were able to gain that experience from. The books were also the source of ideas of another countries and people. One found out about different ideas from books and those ideas seemed unbelievable for him or her. Those ideas provoke different feelings in people and resulted in long conversations and discussion. People were fond of books and discussions about books. People were talking to each other and that was common for them. Though, talking today is almost as unusual thing for us like television were for people more than 100 years ago. Today people prefer television and internet communication.
