TV information
Television provides us with the information we need. But it is not the pure information, if it is okay to say so. The information we receive fro TV-sets is the information one wants us to receive. There is an opinion that television is a perfect way to suggest people just the ideas someone wants us to have. Think about, say, you are interested at some social event, what will you do in order to find out about that event? No doubts you will watch the news where newscaster will tell you about it. Though, the newscaster reads the text that was written by someone else and corrected by another else.
In other words you percept the information that was infiltrated by one's conscious. And people are inclined for modifying information they receive according to their point of view and vision of the world. So, it is not the neutral information you receive, it is the information colored with someone's point of view. Sure, you will say that the same true for newspapers and magazines and no one will object this thought. In order to receive the truest information one has to use a couple sources of the information. And the best way to know what is going on for sure is to find out about everything on your own.
Though, who will spend his or her precious time for investigation concerning some parade or political changes in far-away countries? No one will. People are thirsty for information but not that much that they will investigate themselves. So, they just turn on their TV-sets and listen for what the newscaster is talking about. And those words people percept from their screens are the words that form their point of view and their entire mind. Strictly speaking, there is no opportunity for people to have their own opinion about some political or social events. It is true as the information we are provided with is the information suggested us by newscaster. So, there is no chance for us to make up our mind about something as it is already made up by other people.
The only choice people are allowed to make is the choice between points of view they will follow. Say, the newscaster of one channel says that it is great as it provides our country with a number of great opportunities, and the other says that it is bad as it is pregnant with a number of unpleasant consequences. And the one who is agree with the first one newscaster will follow the same though, and the another who is agree with the second newscaster will follow his though. As you can see, there is no chance for people to think over something on their own. There is no even the tiniest chance to do that. The only chance we have is to choose the though we will follow. One may say that though we have about some event is not a thought of vitally importance. It is so, though, the thoughts that suggested to teenagers by means of the same casters are the thoughts of vitally importance. And so it is important for those thoughts to be the right thoughts.
